Oh my...

Oh my has it really been almost a month since I updated this?

Oh well - it's not like so much has been going on...piano lessons, school work, my work, Scott's work, and most recently we're in the middle of Cub Scout Popcorn sales!!!

Yes, it's that time of year when these sweet little boys will be outside stores, in our case Hobby Lobby in Norman, and work to earn their way to scout camp, raingutter regata boats, pinewood derby cars, family camp outs and rockets! So much fun for all!

If you'd like to support Pack 221 from Roosevelt Elementary we'll be at Hobby Lobby in Norman on Saturday, September 22nd from 10:00-2:00.

If you're in Norman/Moore/OKC area, give me a ring and we can get your order.

If you're out of town, have no fear there is a web site in which to order from! http://www.popcornordering.com/Popcornordering/Store/Entry?keycode=8344036425

It's really good popcorn too!

Cub Scout Day Camp

7 years ago when a small, skinny, little bit of a boy was placed in my arms in the hospital I tried to think of all the cool stuff he'd get to experience and learn. Last week was one of those cool experiences for him and his dad. That's right it was his first ever Cub Scout Day Camp!

He swam,

played games,

made crafts,

learned how to shoot a bow & arrow,

(Bullseye!!!! 2 actually - what a way to build self confidence!!!)

shot off rockets,
5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1
B L A S T O F F!!

and learned how to shoot a BB gun.

They were grateful it wasn't nearly as hot as it was in 2011. What fun for both of the Copeland boys!!! They both are looking forward to next year!
