November...birthdays, Thanksgiving & more!

Well only 2 more months to document this year. I can hardly believe it! Maybe in 2015 I'll take the time to read something on how to improve my photos!

Until then we all can enjoy our antics from November, well at least the ones in which I remembered to take a photo of...

The first weekend of November typically presents a challenge of how-much-stuff-can-we-pack-into-1-day. This year our day went something like this: RTC played in a Fall Festival (the turkey earned a Superior ribbon). Then we were off to his last fall soccer game. Followed by La's birthday party and a family dinner...

La's birthday party...

The girls painted their own pottery pieces. These ladies were serious about their art!!! Everyone seemed to have a great time!

A few days later it was time to celebrate her actual day!

Yes, that is an Elsa dress for a present...
Yes, she immediately put it on to eat her breakfast pancakes before school!

Legos from her brother & it came with assistance with assembly!

Now it was time for Pack 221's Raingutter Regata!

All the boys seems to enjoy it and there weren't many tears!

As a bonus this year Mimi was down and happened to spend her birthday with us! We just had to celebrate, so we celebrated with cheesecake!!!
This was La's turkey in disguise! Pretty huh?
We went to the lighting of Chesapeake's
Christmas lights...

Thanksgiving was spent in Wichita.
We engaged in shooting & shopping. Those were separate things we did and we didn't shoot anyone while we shopped! :)

She looks less than enthused and she took a nap
soon after this photo was taken!

We were able to enjoy a date night!

While Aunt P & Grammie took the kids to see
Christmas lights! Thanks for the date night!

Oops! October

OK - I some how managed to not post about October, so let me make up for that oversight...

We were able to attend Family Camp held at Camp George Thomas. La looks forward to this every year because she really likes to camp! Lots of fun was had by all!

Then Last Frontier Council celebrated their 100th year, so RTC & Scott went and camped on a different weekend. RTC was able to meet Reed Timmer and represent their pack in the flag ceremony. So grateful for our 221 Pack friends!

WatchD.O.G.S is a program at our school and Scott served on Halloween. He had a great day with both kids. He enjoyed helping their teachers.

Finally it was Halloween! What fun to go trick-or-treating with friends! We had Princess Anna & a soldier this year. Now they're making plans for Halloween 2015!!

September...

Yes, it's fall once again in Oklahoma...that means the leaves are turning, mornings are becoming more crisp, and Football is everywhere!

Here's what the Copeland's were up to in September...warning....if you don't like photos you might as well stop now!

Labor Day was on September 1st. This would be the last day our neighborhood pool would be open until May 2015 so we took full advantage of it! Both kids grew physically and confidence wise over the summer and are just amazing. We even got Uncle Barry in on the action!

Swimming gives way to our fall sports which centers around OU Football.  Here they are on the second game of the season! Usually Scott doesn't sit down, but it was halftime.

It's also time to order your Cub Scout Popcorn!
If you need/want some, we're still taking orders!
This cutie started soccer with some friends.
I don't know how good her game is, but she sure is cute!

Since February he had a dental appliance
in his mouth - it was removed and he
was ridiculously happy about it!

These are photos from Spirit Week. They participated in
Crazy sock day (no photos oops!), Favorite Team Day,
PJ Day, & Crazy Hair/Hat Day. They did enjoy it!

Spirit Week ends up with our Roosevelt Run. Most schools call it a jog-a-thon, here at Roosevelt, it's our Run. It's the only PTA fundraiser of the year. I'm sure it's a crazy day for the teachers, but the kids sure have fun!

The last activity we had was a birthday party for a friend of La's. Her party was at Elevation Trampoline in Edmond.  They had a great time bouncing!!

I'm tired just reliving it! Only 3 more months of this year and that's amazing for me to realize.
