Ahh...January

January weather in Oklahoma typically means the temperature is a high of 40 degrees and windy and cold.

So when we are given days when the temperature is near 70 degrees I make us go to the park...

We took video but I'll spare you those - everyone ends the same with the kids coming up to me saying "I wanna see".

I don't believe in global warming and quite frankly I don't care why our days are so pleasant lately. I'm going to take them with a smile because I know sooner or later...we'll have our winter and I'll be longing for days where the high temperature was 70 degrees.

A Good's Night Sleep

I got a late start on laundry yesterday so he would have to sleep without it last night. After I re-made his bed today I told him that I fixed his bed. He said "oh thank you Mom! I couldn't sleep very well last night". He's 7. Do I really think he could tell the difference? We'll see if he ends up in the living room tomorrow morning...
