Kind of close

The lightning struck, the thunder rolled, the hail splattered and the sirens sounded.  Fortunately this is as close as we were to the tornado that hit Norman on Friday the 13th.

Another Sunday Activity

This is a photo of what the boys tend to do on Sunday nights. Scott is playing "Angry Birds". RTC is giving him pointers on how to level up! It just makes me smile because I can't play video games to save my life, so for RTC to be able to give his dad pointers is priceless!

Sunday Evening

This weekend was General Conference for our church. Twice a year the leaders of our church deliver talks on all kinds of topics from Salt Lake City. Because we have a cable provider that offers BYUTV we can watch 4 sessions of conference from the comfort of our own home. It's a great time to listen and talk with our family about what the leaders are saying.

We also happened to have a new neighbor move-in next door to us this week. Since we had more time at home than normal on a Sunday; I baked some brownies to go introduce ourselves to her.

Wouldn't you love to see this face at your door? Both the kids enjoyed taking the treat next door. Guess we should do this more often...
